I was always brought up to think God sat on His throne waiting for us to sin and then punish us, quiet an angry God with clouds billowing around Him and the twenty four elders having to now down and worship Him.
Wrong!! we have a Father that sings and dances over us, who is joyous, filled with gladness, who rejoices openly when some one is saved. Infact the whole of Heaven joins with God in singing when this happens. A God who forgives, a God who cares, a God who gives second, third and forth chances, a God who encourages, a God who leads, a God who blesses us with good things, a God who wants a relationship with us, who wants to walk with His children in the cool of the evening and spend quality time with them. Amen
