PROMISE #25
I will not withhold anything good from those
with an upright heart. Psalm 84:11
What if we don’t always get because we ask for things with the wrong motive. What if our attitude or acceptance of what God had done isn’t from an upright heart. Do we have our own agenda in place when we seek Gods favour. Our Father will give us our hearts desires and more than that it will be given in abundance, to overflowing so what stops this endless out pouring of blessing into our lives, could it be that we restrict the fullness of what the Father wants us to have, do we need to come before the throne in humility and thanks giving having examined our selves and that our needs out weigh our wants.
Background: This psalm celebrates God as a protector and provider. It affirms His generosity towards those who walk in integrity.
Explanation: God is good and delights in blessing His children. Those who strive to live righteously can trust Him to give what is best for them.
Application: Keep your heart aligned with God’s ways. When you desire something, trust that if it’s good for you, God will provide it at the right time.
