I look throughout the earth to strengthen
those who belong to me. 2 Chronicles 16:9
Believing in God is great but belonging to Him is amazing as Paul said I am a bondservant to Christ. If you owed someone money in the ancient world you could choose to be a bond servant until the debt was paid. Likewise, we can choose to be a bondservant to Christ who has paid our debt, covered our sin and restored our lives, I am forever grateful so choose to be a servant in the Kingdom of God not because I’m expected to re-pay what Jesus has done for me but I choose to belong to Him out of respect for what He has done.
